How We Work
At The Diverse Mind Coach (TDMC), Victoria is dedicated to compassionately supporting and accepting neurodivergent individuals.
Whether self-identified or medically diagnosed, all neurodivergent experiences are valid and welcome.
We offer a safe, confidential environment tailored to meet the unique needs of each person.
Victoria’s approach focuses on the individual and their personal relationships, drawing from her extensive experience as an inclusion leader and her Masters in Psychology from The University of Edinburgh.
She is trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and is accredited by the International Coaching Federation in Child/Adolescent Development and Parent Coaching.
Additionally, Victoria is licensed to teach Robyn Gobbel’s Being With- Parent Course, which addresses behaviour through Interpersonal Neurobiology and Polyvagal theory.
Our goal is to ensure everyone feels seen, heard, and accepted, no matter how their neurodivergence presents.

Communities
We offer tailored training, mentoring, and coaching programs for schools and workplaces to cultivate neuro-inclusive environments. Embracing diversity brings valuable perspectives and insights, enhancing collaboration and growth. Let’s work together to create an inclusive, empowered, and thriving community where everyone can flourish.
Empowering through Neurodiversity
This means recognizing that everyone thinks and processes information differently based on how their brain is wired. Just like human diversity includes different groups, neurodiversity includes both neurotypical (NT) minds, which are the majority, and neurodivergent (ND) minds, which think differently.
Neurodivergent minds include people with Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Anxiety, and ADHD. A neuro-inclusive approach values all these different ways of thinking equally.
Embracing Neurodiversity
Embracing neurodiversity means creating environments where everyone, whether neurotypical (NT) or neurodivergent (ND), can thrive. This approach values different perspectives and benefits individuals, families, professionals, and communities by promoting diverse thinking and inclusivity.
About 15-20% of people have neurodevelopmental differences. By embracing neurodiversity, we recognize the unique strengths and challenges of each person, offering support and opportunities for everyone to contribute meaningfully. Ignoring this 20% means excluding a significant part of the population, around 1.6 billion people.
Cultivating Inclusivity
By fostering a culture of neurodiversity, we empower people with different ways of thinking and benefit from their unique perspectives and problem-solving skills. This inclusive approach helps overcome challenges that neurodivergent individuals often face in environments designed for the majority, promoting acceptance and support for all types of thinkers.
Honouring Individuality
Empowering neurodiversity means creating spaces where everyone, no matter how they think, is valued and respected. It involves building inclusive environments that prioritize recognition and support, allowing everyone to thrive. This approach enriches our collective experiences by embracing and celebrating diverse ways of thinking.
Embracing neurodiversity creates neuro-inclusive environments that empower individuals, both NT and ND, to thrive. It focuses on appreciating different perspectives, benefiting individuals, families, professionals, and communities alike by fostering diverse thinking and cultivating inclusivity.
Around 15-20% of the population has a neurodevelopmental difference. Embracing neurodiversity appreciates the strengths and challenges of each person, providing support and opportunities for meaningful contributions. Neglecting this 20% excludes a significant portion of humanity (1.6 billion people).
By nurturing a culture of neurodiversity, we empower individuals with cognitive differences and benefit from their innovative perspectives and problem-solving approaches. This holistic approach counters challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals due to environments designed by the majority, promoting neuroinclusiveness and accommodating diverse thinking styles.
Empowering neurodiversity involves creating spaces where everyone, regardless of cognitive differences, is valued, respected, and given opportunities to shine. It establishes inclusive environments prioritizing recognition, respect, and empowerment, fostering an atmosphere where diversity enriches collective experiences.
